Chan's Garden - Bay City

I eat here about once a week, have been doing this for a few years now. The chicken and mushroom dinner with noodles is great! Best egg rolls you could ask for. Yes the dining area needs some cleaning or updating but it’s a low key place that is not out to be fancy. For those who discredit this location due to wait for food keep in mind that the bulk of their customers you won’t and can’t see, call in orders and delivery so just because there is only 3 people sitting there they probably are working on 15 orders. Keep up the good work Brandon! Your food is fantastic!

I just picked up take out and though everything was delicious, I must highlight the egg roll...... WOW! Best I've ever had. Highly recommend!!!

The buffet has a huge variety. It's very good. It's always being filled and it's kept clean. The service on my last visit was good and usually the table service is good. It's more so when dealing with the person at the register sometimes they aren't as friendly as they could be. The restaurant is okay. Could use a little updating but besides that it's decent.

Food was very good, and reasonably priced. I'll be back for more! I didn't realize, though, that it was take-out only & that I'd have to wait outside for my food

I came here because I was craving Chinese food and I just happened to be downtown in Bay City so I came here I ordered from the window for my husband and I a varied amount of different flavors and so we ended up getting the chicken mushroom, then the Kung Pao chicken without peanuts, in general Tao's chicken I like spicy food my husband does not so he got the mushroom chicken and I got the other two The Kung Pao chicken I had never had before and I loved it and the servings were so huge that I'm still eating my serving today the second day and I still have some leftover for tomorrow so it gives you plenty of food for almost 3 days just fantastic and then I just have it for different meals like sometimes breakfast right now it's lunch tomorrow it'll be dinner again so it's just wonderful so everything I had was delicious and I really like the general Taos chicken it was the sauce was just so divine and it was so nice on the fried rice that I got. I also got an egg roll and a spring roll. My husband got the ham fried rice He really enjoyed that. All in all a very good experience and when I'm craving Chinese food again I will definitely come here. It's easy to get to an easy to get out of town too so it's just a really great great place.

Hands down the best Chinese Food in Around. The Owner/Chef is Amazing great energy and attitude every time I’ve came he Cooks the Rice to perfection only one that has Brown Fried Rice and does not put carrots and peas in the rice Only down side is they are Closed on Sundays

Looking towards " Chan's Garden ", just behind the newly constructed Music Shell. A beautiful place to enjoy the tasty Chan's take out food.

Best in town hands down! I go for the fried chicken anything! General tsau is so fire! And the crab cheese is perfect. Exactly what ya want from your cheap Chinese fast lunch. Very reasonable prices. Always try to tip on top cause they deserve it! Thanks guys!
